Sarasota Bike & Sea Life Encounter Cruise

This tour begins in Downtown Sarasota. We travel over the John Ringling Causeway to St. Armand’s Circle and continue north to Mote Marine Laboratories at Ken Thompson Park. Upon arrival, we will board the Explorer I or IV and join the Sarasota Bay Explorer’s Sea Life Encounter Cruise. This portion of the tour is a 1 hour, 45 minute cruise through Sarasota and Roberts Bay. Accompanied by Marine Biologists, we will learn about ecology, history, and folklore about the area. After the cruise portion of the tour, we will have a short break for lunch then continue back south through St. Armand’s circle and over the John Ringling Causeway back to our starting point. This tour includes lunch, cruise, bikes, helmets, and a guide. (This tour can be modified to start and stop at an alternative location for those who don’t care to ride over the bridge.)
